About the Speaker
Zaylore Stout is an attorney who owns his own law firm, Zaylore Stout & Associates (ZSA). He currently lives in Minneapolis and practices law in Minnesota and California. His area of focus as an attorney is employment law which includes sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage & hour disputes.
Zaylore’s law firm was showcased as one of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 2018 Outstanding LGBTQ business leaders in the Twin Cities metro area who are making strides in advancing equality in the business world and the community. In 2020, he hosted a panel in 2020 at the Lavender Law Conference titled “Extreme or Essential: Understanding the Shifting Legal Landscape of LGBT-specific Community Inclusion in U.S. School Curricula” bringing together national experts regarding the future of teaching a more diverse curriculum and its impact on all, not just LGBTQ+, youth.
Besides working on employment law matters, Zaylore also published his first book titled Our Gay History in 50 states, which highlights significant people, places, and ‘queer facts’ relating to LGBTQIA history on a state-by-state basis.
When he is not working on law or advocating for LGBTQIA+ issues, Zaylore loves spending time with his friends and family.
